Every round, one player is the main character. Everyone else gets to write their story, and the star has to work out who said what.
- Players
- 3 to 8 players
- Length
- About 10 minutes a round
- Equipment
- One shared screen, plus a phone each
- Best for
- Birthdays, roommates, and close friends
How to play Hot Seat
- 1
The hot seat rotates, so everyone gets a turn in the spotlight.
- 2
Everyone except the star fills in blanks, knowing the story is about them.
- 3
The AI writes a story starring the player in the hot seat, and the narrator reads it aloud.
- 4
The star guesses who wrote each answer. Right guesses score for the star; every fooled guess scores for the writer.
Tips to win
- Roast like a friend at a birthday toast: affectionate, specific, and never mean.
- Write in someone else's style to throw the star off.
